Bullying is becoming a bigger and bigger problem in the U. S. and throughout the world. We looked to Twitter to see who was active in fighting bullying online and offline and we came up with four great resources. Know someone on twitter that fights bullying? Dr. Michele Borba
Michele Borba is an internationally renowned educator, award-winning author, parenting expert and child and adolescent expert. She is recognized for her practical, solution-based strategies to strengthen children’s behavior, character, and social development, and to build strong families. Her proposal: “Ending School Violence and Student Bullying” was signed into California law in 2002. Michele is a commentator on bullying,education,kids & teens for the Today Show, Dateline, Dr. Phil, CNN and Fox.

Stop Bullying is an anonymous 17 year old girl who lives in New Zealand and is dedicated to stopping bullying throughout the world. Wise behind her years Stop Bullying gives tips and lessons on how to stop bullying.

Born with a mild-to-moderate case of cerebral palsy, Tony Bartoli encountered a lot of bullying while in school. As an adult, Bartoli wanted to change how kids with differences, including disabilities, get treated at school, so in 2004 he started traveling across the country to help raise awareness about the seriousness of bullying.

Cati is a 17 year old senior at a local high school in San Diego, CA. Cati wants to help make our world a safer place! She decided to start caticares.com on her 15th birthday as a way to reach out to other teens about how important internet safety is and how we can join together to stop cyber bullying. Her current project is to unite one million teens against cyber bullying.
