Every parent relishes the chance to brag about their son or daughter's success at their workplace, but some parents of children with special needs feel like they may have less opportunities for that in their child's future. While applauding each and every child's accomplishments, no matter big or small, it is a common worry of many parents of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities that the workplace with not be welcoming to them.
