For the 6th consecutive year, Friendship Circle is holding the Great Bike Giveaway, an annual campaign that strives to provide as many bikes as possible to children and teens with special needs. We partner with adaptive bike companies from around the world to offer these special adaptive bikes as well as a fundraising platform so friends and family members can give a child with special needs the experience, joy and independence of riding a special bike.

Amtryke 1024 Community Cruiser
The 1024 Community Cruiser provides a good mobility option for adult or teen riders and offers an adjustable easy-slide wheelchair seat for easy rider transfer. This tryke’s hand crank operates with a feather light touch and features a 3-speed Sturmey Archer hub for conquering hilly terrain. A tight turning radius offers high maneuverability. Community Cruiser features a large basket for shopping, a coaster brake and a front hand brake. Custom remote location brake and shifting kit available. Buddy Bike
Buddy Bike Family Classic is designed to encourage novices and non-riders to cycle. This model includes an aluminum frame in metallic orange, a Shimano Nexus internal 7-speed hub for easy maintenance and pedal-free shifting, Tektro V brakes for the rear rider (Captain) and an additional standard caliper brake for the front rider (Stoker). This Buddy Bike model is most comfortable for adult riders under 5’7". It varies from other Buddy Bike models with a shorter frame, lower top tubes for easier bike mounting, and a lower rear rider seat.
